Meerut, Sep 9 (PTI) Three minor boys who had left their home without informing their family here were safely recovered from Haridwar by a police team on Wednesday, officials said.
According to the police, Pramod Kumar, a resident of Bahadurpur village, had reported at the Partapur police station on September 7 that his three minor nephews had gone missing after leaving home around 3 pm without informing anyone, and could not be traced despite extensive searches.
The boys could not be traced despite extensive searches, following which police registered a case and launched an investigation.
The three boys were subsequently located and safely recovered from Haridwar, the police said.
During questioning, the children told police that they had left home
on their own and that no untoward incident had occurred with them.
Necessary legal formalities are being completed to hand over the minors to their families, police said. PTI COR CDN SMV SMV NB NB
