The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced the commencement of its 2025 recruitment process, inviting applications for the positions of Assistant City Planner and Research Assistant. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website, uppsc.up.nic.in. A total of 11 vacancies are available for both posts.
The application window for UPPSC recruitment 2025 opened on October 3 and will close on December 3. Candidates will have until December 10, 2024, to make corrections to their submitted application forms, if any.
UPPSC Recruitment 2025: Vacancy Details
UPPSC has announced eight vacancies for the post of Assistant City Planner (Specialised). These are equally divided between the OBC and SC categories, with four posts reserved for each. For the Research
Assistant position, UPPSC is recruiting three candidates. Two posts are unreserved, while one is reserved for the OBC category.
UPPSC Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Assistant City Planner: Candidates must have a Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Town Planning from a recognised institution. They must also be between 21 and 40 years old.
Research Assistant: Applicants must be aged between 21 and 40 years. They must possess a degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or an equivalent government-recognised qualification. Preference will be given to candidates with Territorial Army experience or an NCC ‘B’ Certificate.
UPPSC Recruitment 2025: Application Fee
The application fee for the Assistant City Planner role is Rs 125 for General and OBC candidates, while SC/ST and Ex-Servicemen candidates need to pay Rs 65. For the Research Assistant position, the fee is Rs 225 for General and OBC category candidates and Rs 105 for SC, ST and ex-servicemen candidates. All payments include a nominal online processing fee and must be paid online through the official portal.
