The 2026 Grammys gave fans unforgettable moments and a few surprising winners. The Album of the Year category was packed with heavyweights like Kendrick Lamar, Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter and Lady Gaga, but it was Bad Bunny, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, who stole the spotlight with his hit Debí Tirar Más Fotos. This historic win not only celebrated his music but also set the stage for his upcoming Super Bowl performance. Fans were curious if Gaga, a Super Bowl veteran, had any advice for him.
She simply praised him, saying he doesn’t need guidance and “knows who he is.” The Star is Born actress added that Bunny is not just a remarkable musician but also a kind and genuine person, and the world will feel his energy on stage.

Shows Support For Bad Bunny
Speaking with People, Lady Gaga said, “Honestly, I don’t think he needs any (advice) from me. He knows who he is and that’s the only thing that matters when you step onto that stage. All he has to do is be the beautiful person he already is and the world will feel his heart. I have endless admiration for Benito. He’s a brilliant musician and an incredibly kind human being.”
During his speech at the Grammys, Bad Bunny used his moment on stage to share a strong message. In one part, he spoke against ICE and showed support for people who feel unsafe. In another part, he honoured people who leave their home country to follow their dreams. Admiring his kind words, Gaga said, “What he said on that stage about love being more powerful than hate moved me to tears. We need more artists willing to use the biggest moments to speak the truth.”
A Quiet Moment Before the Big Win
Before the Artist of the Year winner was revealed, a video from inside the venue showed Lady Gaga walking to Bad Bunny from behind and hugged him. She leaned in and said something to him, but the clip had no sound, so no one knows what she said. Soon after that moment, Bunny won for Debí Tirar Más Fotos, becoming the first Spanish language artist to take home the award.
