'Where Is Dilip Joshi?': Netizens Ask As TMKOC Actors Skip Shailesh Lodha's Daughter Wedding

Actor Shailesh Lodha’s daughter recently got married and photos and videos from the wedding celebration are all over social media. While Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal attended the ceremony, netizens have now been wondering why did nobody from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah was spotted at the wedding.

Lodha used to play the role of Taarak Mehta in Asit Kumarr Modi’s popular sitcom. He was a part of the show for more than a decade before quitting in 2022. Despite his years of association with the show, netizens are now questioning if nobody, including Dilip Joshi and Munmun Dutta, was invited at Lodha’s daughter’s wedding.

“People noticed that almost none of the TMKOC actors were present at the wedding. Even Dilip Joshi (Jethalal), who is considered

close to him, was not seen. If the dispute was only with Asit Modi, then why didn’t the rest of the actors attend the wedding?” a user wrote on X.

Why Did Shailesh Lodha Quit TMKOC?

Shailesh Lodha used to play the role of Taarak Mehta in the popular show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He was a part of the show ever since the beginning. However, he quit in April 2022. Lodha was replaced by Sachin Shroff in the show.

In September 2023, Lodha claimed that he left TMKOC because of Asit Kumarr Modi’s behaviour. Shailesh argued he was invited for a stand-up show titled Good Night India on SAB TV in 2022 which left Asit Modi disappointed. He claimed that Asit Modi used inappropriate language with him and when he confronted the maker, Modi called everyone on the show his servants in a derogatory way.

“I could not tolerate the way he spoke to me. A show is made by many people coming together and not just one person. I thus mailed him on February 17, 2022, that I would not like to continue with the show,” Lodha told Lallantop.
