The 26-year-old chef and entrepreneur recently addressed his strained relationship with his famous parents through a series of emotional Instagram Stories, where he alleged that they prioritised the “Brand Beckham” over family bonds and repeatedly disrespected his wife. Now, a source tells People magazine that Brooklyn has no second thoughts about speaking up.

According to the insider, Brooklyn “has no regrets about speaking out publicly against his parents.” The source added that Brooklyn, Nicola, and her family remain united and confident in their stance, with Brooklyn believing that sharing his truth was the right decision and something he feels completely at peace with.

‘Brand Beckham’ vs Family Ties

Brooklyn’s remarks stem from Instagram posts shared earlier this month, in which he accused his parents of trying for years to create distance between him and Nicola. In the posts, he alleged that his family placed “public promotion, endorsements,” and the “Brand Beckham” ahead of personal relationships.

He also claimed that the public perception of the Beckhams as a close-knit and “perfect” family does not align with his private experiences. Brooklyn wrote that Nicola has “been consistently disrespected” by his side of the family, a situation he says worsened once he began defending his wife.

Brooklyn and Nicola tied the knot in April 2022 in a lavish wedding ceremony held at her family’s Palm Beach estate, attended by hundreds of guests and high-profile friends. However, according to Brooklyn, tensions were already simmering before they even said their vows.

He alleged that the night before the wedding, members of his family told him Nicola was “not blood” and therefore not truly family. Brooklyn claimed that after standing up for himself and his wife, he became the target of ongoing criticism from his parents.

Wedding Reception Moment That ‘Humiliated’ Him

One of the most painful incidents Brooklyn described involved their wedding reception. In his post, he alleged that his planned first dance with Nicola was “hijacked” when his mother stepped in.

According to Brooklyn, Victoria danced with him “very inappropriately” instead. “I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life,” he claimed, adding that the moment deeply upset Nicola.

A source had previously told People that singer Marc Anthony invited Victoria onto the stage during the reception, referring to her as “the most beautiful woman in the room,” a moment that reportedly added to the tension on the night.
