Chitrangda Singh finds Dhurandhar inspirational
In her recent interview with Zoom, Chitrangda Singh opened up about her experience of watching Dhurandhar, which was released on December 5. “Dhurandhar inspired me as an actor and as a cinema person. I think it was one of the most amazing films in every department,” the Inkaar actress said. From the screenplay and direction to the sets and costumes, Chitrangda said Dhurandhar scored points. “It is a complete film I have seen in a long time. You could smell
Lahore. It felt like you’re sitting there in the market,” she emphasised.
Asked if she would collaborate with Akshaye Khanna in future, Chitrangda answered in the affirmative. As per The Indian Express, Dhurandhar has stormed past the Rs 1050 crore mark globally.
Chitrangda Singh on power plays in Bollywood
In the same interview, Chitrangda opened up about power plays in Bollywood. She said there was “so much to gain and lose” in the industry. “Whenever you’re in a place where there’s fame and a lot more to gain, there will be so many people standing in between,” she said.
“Either you have to fight or have fate by your side to go through,” Singh added. The actress said she had fate and fight in her journey. “In my case, it was both. You have to rely on both. You have to fight and depend on fate that it works out,” Chitrangda emphasised.
