New Delhi, Jul 8 (PTI) Vice President C P Radhakrishnan is scheduled to undertake an official visit to Bhubaneswar on Thursday.
The day-long visit will feature a series of events centred on blue-economy sustainability and higher education.
Upon his arrival, the vice president will head to the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) in Bhubaneswar. He will be part of the national launch programme dedicated to issuing Letters of Authorisation (LoAs) for the Sustainable Harnessing of Fisheries in the High Seas.
In a major push for the region’s maritime sector, Radhakrishnan will also officially release the ‘Odisha Deep Sea Fishing Mission Document’, a roadmap designed to elevate local fishing capabilities while preserving marine ecosystems.
Later in the afternoon, the focus will shift to academic excellence as the vice president attends the 15th graduation ceremony of the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) in Khordha, Bhubaneswar. PTI NAB NB NB
