Sarathkumar entered politics in 2000, initially joining the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK). She later spent time with the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi (AISMK) parties. In 2024, she and her husband joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Radhika Sarathkumar was a candidate for the Virudhunagar Lok Sabha seat; however, she did not win. Despite her political commitments, she remains active in her business and frequently engages with her substantial social media following of 555,000 on Instagram. Recently, she posted birthday wishes to Rishi Kapoor’s daughter, Riddhima Kapoor, and thanked Prime Minister Modi in another post.

Radhika Sarathkumar’s film career spans multiple languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. Her notable Hindi films include ‘Mera Pati Sirf Mera Hai,’ ‘Aaj Ka Arjun,’ and ‘Himmatwala.’ Her most recent film was the Tamil action thriller ‘Vaanam Kottattum,’ co-starring Vikram Prabhu.

Balancing her business and political careers, Sarathkumar also dedicates significant time to her family. She often shares family photos on social media. She has two children; her son Rahul was born in 2004, and she also has a daughter who is married.
