Ward No. 201 (F/South) is one of the 227 wards of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), India’s largest Municipal Corporation. This ward is reserved for General and has a total population of 52808, of which 4841 belong to the Scheduled Castes and 622 belong to the Scheduled Tribes.

The gazette notification for the BMC Ward No. 201 (F/South) was issued on December 15, 2025 (Monday), the last date of scrutiny of nominations was December 31, 2025 (Wednesday) and the last date of withdrawal of nominations was January 2, 2026 (Friday). The extent of the ward as published in the Maharashtra Government Gazette is as follows: A line starting from the junction of G.D Ambekar Marg (Parel tank road) and Scheme 6 Road No. 26 at Dadasaheb Sarfare Chowk and running eastwards along the southside of Scheme 6 Road No 26 upto its junction with Northern compound wall of B.P.T Hospital along the common boundary of ‘F/South and ‘F/North wards across Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Marg; thence northwards along the said compound wall upto its junction with L.M.Nadkarni Road; thence southwards along the westside of L.M. Nadkarni Road upto its junction with Common Boundary of F/South” and “F/North wards; thence eastwards along the said the common Boundary upto its junction with sea-shore at Kherap Creek; thence southwards along the said Sea-shore upto its junction with D.P. PREVIOUS BMC ELECTION RESULT
The last Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections were held on February 21, 2017, in which Shiv Sena was the single largest party with 84 seats, while the Bharatiya Janata Party won 82 seats. Indian National Congress secured 31 seats, Nationalist Congress Party won nine, and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena won seven seats. Other parties included Samajwadi Party, which won six seats; the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen won two seats and the Akhil Bhartiya Sena won a single seat. Five Independent candidates also won seats in the election.
