A clip shared on X by a handle Karnataka Portfolio captures a scene from Bengaluru’s morning rush, where two bikers turned a congested stretch of road into a violent confrontation. The clip shows the riders
stopping in the middle of traffic near Tin Factory and attacking each other with punches and helmets during peak office hours.
Describing the incident as a “shocking helmet fight,” the handle notes that the altercation unfolded on a road already “known for heavy traffic congestion.”
According to the post, the video was recorded by a commuter travelling in an office cab, who said he did not have full details of what led to the fight. What is clearly visible, however, is what the handle calls “a classic case of road rage triggered by impatience and lack of self-control.”
The post explains that, amid the pressure of the morning rush, the two bikers reportedly brushed against each other while riding side by side, causing one of them to nearly fall. Rather than pulling aside or resolving the matter calmly, “both riders lost their cool and started fighting right in the middle of the road.”
The footage shows the men repeatedly striking each other, at times using their helmets as weapons.
The post highlights the risk posed by such behaviour, stating that it “puts not only the individuals involved at risk but also endangers other commuters, pedestrians and motorists.” It stresses that roads are meant for safe travel, “not for settling personal egos or venting anger,” adding that “a few seconds of patience could have avoided this ugly situation.”
The post concludes with an appeal for restraint and civic responsibility on Bengaluru’s crowded roads. It reminds commuters that traffic congestion is a shared challenge and that losing one’s temper only worsens matters, potentially leading to “serious injuries or even loss of life.”
In the end, the post emphasises the need for “civic sense, patience, and basic respect for others.”

The problem is also faulty design, lack of lane markers, no proper streetlights, broken footpaths leading to pedestrians on road and silt and debris on the roads. @GBA_office @GBAChiefComm needs to work on these rather than just flooding us with pictures of minor works.

People are already stressed — office punch-in time, heavy traffic, daily pressure.
A little patience and empathy can prevent big trouble.
