The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday predicted rain and thunderstorms for several southern states in the coming days. As per the weather update, heavy rain is predicted in Kerala and Mahe between November 8 and 10, while light to moderate rain is expected across several parts of Tamil Nadu between November 6 and 8.
Furthermore, rain and thunderstorms are also predicted tomorrow in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, and South Interior Karnataka.

Yellow Alert In Kerala
A yellow alert has been issued in several districts of Kerala due to the possibility of isolated heavy rain. The weather department predicted heavy rain in Pathanamthitta, Idukki, Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, and Alappuzha.
Rainfall between 64.5 millimetres and 115.5 millimetres is predicted in 24 hours.
