The issue of passengers travelling without valid tickets is becoming an increasing concern for both travellers and railway staff. A recent incident involved a mother and daughter caught in a 1st AC compartment
without proper tickets. Instead of cooperating, they argued with the train’s Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE). In a video of the encounter, the TTE is seen calmly asking them to present a valid ticket, while the woman claims he is harassing her by recording the interaction. Meanwhile, her daughter attempts to justify their travel, claiming that her brother is a loco pilot.
The video starts with the TTE asking the woman to show her ticket, and she admits she doesn’t have one. During the conversation, she says that she only boarded the train with her daughter to use the bathroom. Meanwhile, the daughter defends their actions by claiming that her brother is a loco pilot, which gives them the right to travel without a ticket. However, the issue escalated when the woman began the caste drama after asking the TTE’s name.
Mother And Daughter Caught In 1st AC Without Valid Tickets
The video posted on X (Formerly Twitter) came with the caption, “My brother is a loco pilot, so I’ll travel in First AC without a ticket. Yesterday, it was a government school teacher, today, it’s the sister of a loco pilot, looks like government employees and their family members believe Indian Railways is their personal property. First, travelling without a ticket & even arguing with the TTE when caught, and then playing the victim by alleging “misbehaviour” has become routine. She has kept starbucks mobile cover to flaunt her wealth but too poor to buy a mere ₹10 ticket.”

Reacting to the post, a user wrote, “I’ll also now take my distant uncle’s name. He’s a station master. Once, we were travelling on the Danapur Intercity when we saw this. Relatives of railway employees were travelling freely, even in the 3E class. This happens more often in UP and Bihar.”
Another shared, “Let me tell you this is a major issue in UP and Bihar states. Where family of IR employees just say to TC they are ‘staff’ and travel freely. I hope the railway will take some action to stop this. They shouldn’t claim anything without a proper and valid pass with them.”
“After ‘Chacha Vidhayak hai Humare’, people can now be seen flaunting ‘My Brother is a loco pilot’ to show off,” a comment read.
An individual stated, “Some people have the audacity to break the law and then do ‘Seenazori’. Pathetic behaviour. Put them behind bars. This is the only way they can learn.”
Another mentioned, “These types of third-rate people bring caste into the equation when they have violated the law. Her audacity in making that video shows her entitlement & stupidity.”
One more added, “Could see there is RPF, but he did nothing and left the place, then what is the purpose of then on board. Get the name of Loco Pilot and suspend him for a week, let him enjoy the punishment due to their family’s misbehaviour.”
Another Woman From Bihar Accuses TTE Of Misbehaviour
A woman from Bihar recently made headlines for arguing with a TTE and accusing him of talking inappropriately with her. In the clip, she claims that the TTE was being rude. The TTE, however, pointed out that the entire incident was getting recorded and warned her that legal action would be taken if she did not cooperate. After the exchange, the woman was forced to leave the coach.
