England boss Thomas Tuchel opened up on the nuances of his selection process for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in USA, Canada and Mexico as England look to add the second star to their shirt.
Tuchel, who
has been handed the reins of the Three Lions, has but one objective at the helm of the English side, abundant with talent across the pitch.

“It will be very important that we don’t select just for talent but also for what we need from a player,” Tuchel said/
“What the social skills are of a player, is he a good teammate? Can he support if his role is maybe the supporting role? So, this is where the focus is,” he added.

England are aiming to clinch the coveted title for the first time since their crowning moment in 1966, as Tuchel seeks to lead the English Lions to the promised land.
Former England manager Gareth Southgate helped the Three Lions to deep runs at the World Cup in 2022, where he led the side to a semifinals finish, and the UEFA Euros in 2020 and 2024 as the English side went all the way up to the final before stumbling in the ultimate hurdle.
England are in Group L of the World Cup, where they will face Croatia, Ghana, and Panama in the group stage. Their opening match is scheduled for June 17 against Croatia in Dallas.
