BTS’ V Sheds Light On Moments He Feels Most Confident: ‘When I Can Show My True Self’

The video opened with a few shots of behind-the-scenes glimpses from V’s photoshoot for TIRTIR. V was looking charming in a red leather jacket as he sat for the interview.

BTS’ V Reveals Moments of Confidence

During the short interview, V was asked to share a moment where he felt most confident or unique. To which he replied, “I’ve always felt most confident, natural, and appealing when I can show my true self.” He continued, “Whether it’s making the music I love, performing on stage, interacting with my fans or appearing in photoshoots like this.”

Talking about his involvement in the photoshoot, V shared, “In preparing for this shoot, I got to share different ideas and communicate extensively with director Yoo Kwang Goeng and photographer Kim Hee Jun.” He further added, “From the overall concept to the makeup, styling, and hair – we put a lot of emphasis on capturing my natural self.”

V Reunites with Wooga Squad

V, who is currently in Hawaii, surprised fans by reuniting with Park Seo Joon, Park Hyung Sik, Peakboy and Choi Woo Shik. On December 9, the singer shared a rare and intimate look at his off-duty moments with his close-knit squad.

The photos captured the group in their most relaxed state. From enjoying salty ocean waves to beachside sunsets and sharing laughter over meals, the pictures reflected the easy comfort and brotherhood the five share.

V on the Work Front

After completing his mandatory military service in June this year, V accompanied fellow BTS members to the US to record their highly anticipated comeback album, which is set to drop in spring 2026. Following the album release, the whole group, including V, Jungkook, RM, Suga, Jimin, J-Hope and Jin, will embark on a massive world tour.
