Their journey began with indie films like Flavors (2003) and 99 (2009), which quickly earned them a reputation for unconventional storytelling. But it was Shor in the City (2011) — a gritty anthology set in Mumbai — that established them as filmmakers to watch.

What followed was a remarkable run of successes that cemented Raj & DK’s reputation for genre-blending storytelling. Their 2013 film Go Goa Gone, India’s first mainstream zombie comedy, quickly achieved cult status for its quirky humour and inventive premise. They then ventured into slick action-comedy with A Gentleman (2017), further proving their command over commercial yet innovative filmmaking.
