A Rajasthan-based woman who was earlier approached on LinkedIn with a marriage proposal has now received another unusual request. This time, however, the family did not contact her looking for a match for herself.
Mudrika Kavdia, a brand marketing professional from Udaipur, was contacted by an NRI family that wanted her help in finding the woman who had earlier approached her. The family said they were looking for a suitable partner for their 26-year-old daughter.

in Dubai. They had seen Mudrika’s post about a mother searching for a bride for her son and wondered if she could help them get in touch with the woman. “Our search is also on,” the family wrote in their message.
Mudrika shared a screenshot of the conversation on X and added a light-hearted caption: “I wish this rishta gets pakka.” The new request added another unexpected turn to the story.

The unusual request came shortly after Mudrika shared another marriage-related message she had received on LinkedIn. A woman who said she was around Mudrika’s mother’s age had contacted her to ask about her relationship status.
She wanted to know if Mudrika was single, engaged or married. The woman explained that she was searching for a suitable bride for her son. According to her message, he was born in 1997, had a PhD in Biomedical Sciences and was settled in the US.
Instead of directly asking Mudrika to marry her son, the woman suggested that they could exchange details if Mudrika was open to the idea. She also said their parents could connect if needed.
Mudrika’s post about the message drew attention because the proposal had arrived through LinkedIn, a platform mainly used for professional networking.

Users Joke About Mudrika Becoming A Matchmaker
The second message brought another wave of jokes from users on X. Some suggested that Mudrika should now consider matchmaking as a new profession.
