Hyderabad, Apr 8 (PTI) Five people have been killed, and another suffered injuries in two separate road accidents in Telangana, police said on Wednesday.
A car hit two engineering students, who were riding a bike, and a pedestrian who was crossing the road, at Hastinapuram here late on Tuesday night.
The two students died on the spot, while the pedestrian suffered serious injuries in the incident.
The car driver, who has been arrested, is suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol.
In Kamareddy district, three motorcycle-borne men have died when they hit a lorry parked negligently on the road on Tuesday night.
The trio could not notice the lorry parked in the dark. While one of them died on the spot, two others died while undergoing treatment
