For the proposal, Nupur opted for a floral dress, while Stebin kept things classic in a white shirt paired with a blue blazer and matching trousers.
Who Is Stebin
Ben?
Born and raised in Bhopal, Stebin Ben discovered his love for music early in life. His first brush with performing came at school, where he realised that singing was more than just a hobby. College fests and local competitions followed, slowly building his confidence.
In 2016, Stebin moved to Mumbai to chase a full-time career in music. Like many newcomers, the early days were far from glamorous. He performed at cafés and clubs across the city, relying on small gigs while trying to get noticed.
That breakthrough came when his cover of Mera Dil Bhi Kitna Pagal Hai went viral online. The attention helped him land his first major break with Zee Music, making his base for a steady rise in the industry.
From Viral Covers To Chart-Topping Songs
Over the years, Stebin has lent his voice to songs picturised on actors like Sidharth Malhotra, Akshay Kumar, Rajkummar Rao, Emraan Hashmi, Vijay Deverakonda, Tiger Shroff and Shahid Kapoor. He has also collaborated with composers and singers, including Shreya Ghoshal, Himesh Reshammiya, Sachin-Jigar, Jeet Gannguli and Mohit Suri.
His song Sahiba emerged as a breakout hit, dominating streaming platforms and cementing his place as one of the most recognisable voices in the current pop-playback space. Tracks like Baarish Ban Jaana, Rula Ke Gaya Ishq and Baarish Aayi Hai later turned into social media favourites.
What Keeps Him Grounded
In an earlier interview with The Indian Express, Stebin spoke candidly about his journey and influences. “Honestly, I take a lot of inspiration from Arijit Singh and Diljit Dosanjh,” he said, adding that their growth over the last decade continues to motivate him.
“What keeps me grounded is my love of music itself. That is why I decided to take a leap of faith and came to Mumbai with just Rs 20,000,” he shared.
Reports suggest Nupur Sanon and Stebin Ben are set to marry on January 11 in Udaipur, with a close-knit ceremony attended by family and friends.
