Fire breaks out at shopping centre in Mumbai' Andheri; no injuries

Jul 25 (PTI) A fire broke out at a shopping complex in a western suburb of Mumbai on Saturday evening, officials said.

Nobody was injured in the fire that erupted at Bonny Plaza in the Andheri West area around 5 pm.

The fire started in the one-storey structure and affected electrical wiring and installations, wooden furniture, footwear, clothing and perfume stock, an official said.

After being alerted, firefighters were sent to the scene and the blaze was extinguished at around 5.30 pm, the official added. PTI ZA NR
