Chandigarh, Jun 15 (PTI) Maximum temperatures in Haryana and Punjab hovered near normal on Monday, while rain lashed parts of Haryana during the day.
According to the MeT, Ambala recorded a maximum of 38.2 degrees Celsius while Hisar recorded 36.9 degrees Celsius.
Gurugram, which received some rainfall accompanied by strong winds during the afternoon, recorded a maximum temperature of 36.2 degrees Celsius.
Hisar and Narnaul also received sporadic showers, recording respective maximums of 36.9 degrees Celsius and 37 degrees Celsius.
A high of 37.6 degrees Celsius was recorded in Rohtak, with light rainfall during the day keeping the maximum temperature near-normal.
Chandigarh registered a maximum of 38 degrees Celsius.
In Punjab, Amritsar recorded
a maximum of 36 degrees Celsius while Ludhiana and Patiala recorded respective maximums of 35.6 degrees and 37.8 degrees Celsius.
Bathinda recorded 33.2 degrees Celsius while Ferozepur registered a maximum of 35.6 degrees Celsius. PTI SUN ARB ARB
