The teaser runs for 1 minute and 44 seconds and introduces Suriya as Sanjay Vishwanath. He plays an international pistol-shooting champion in his 40s who is trying to make a comeback. The clip shows him representing India and winning matches. His life starts to change when he meets a young woman named Maddy, played by Mamitha Baiju. At first, Sanjay and Maddy share a mentor-student bond. But things take a turn when Maddy develops feelings for him. This leaves Sanjay confused and unsure about what to do next. The film is expected to touch on topics like age gaps and how society looks at such relationships. The teaser ends with a surprising moment, where Sanjay is seen holding a baby.
Helmed by Venky Atluri, Vishwanath & Sons promises an emotional narrative built around relationships and purpose. Actress Mamitha Baiju plays a key role in the film and has spoken warmly about her experience working with Suriya. At a recent awards event, Mamitha revealed a light-hearted anecdote from the sets. She shared that Suriya had a special coffee he would drink daily. Curious, she quietly asked his assistants about it. When Suriya found out, he ensured she received the same coffee every day until the shoot wrapped. “It was a small gesture from him, but it meant a lot to me,” she said.
