With such a huge number of followers, V stands as the most followed Korean male soloist on Instagram. V also becomes the second most-followed Korean male act overall, right below his own group, BTS, whose official Instagram account has 77 million followers.
BTS’ V Reaches New Milestone
The pop icon’s official Instagram account, @thv, achieved 70 million followers with only 150 posts, highlighting his exceptional influence on his fans. Since the BTS members – V, Jungkook, RM, Suga, Jimin, Jin and J-Hope – launched their personal Instagram accounts
in December 2021, V has always managed to dominate the platform.
V’s Instagram account stands as one of the most engaged and influential accounts globally. Previously, he earned two Guinness World Records for becoming the fastest person to reach 1 million and 10 million followers on Instagram.
As per HYPEBEAST Korea, V has also achieved the record for the most-liked Instagram post by a Korean in 2025. The most talked-about photo was shared during his military days, which surpassed 17.7 million likes, highlighting his global popularity.

V is set to make a comeback with BTS
V is currently gearing up to drop BTS’ comeback album along with his fellow bandmates. The group has announced their brand-new full-length album arriving on March 20, followed by a global world tour.
