When Karan Johar Revealed He Wanted To Remake Sangam With Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor And Ranveer Singh

During their appearance on Karan Johar’s Koffee with Karan Season 8, Ranveer Singh was

asked, “In a love triangle featuring you and Deepika, which male actor would you not mind being cast to be the third character?” Ranveer replied, “Ranbir (Kapoor).” He then told KJo, “You wanted to make Sangam with the three of us, right?” To this, KJo replied, “Yes.” The actor then replied back, “You are always boasting but make nothing concrete.”

Karan said he can still make Sangam. “Sign it?” Karan asked, to which Deepika replied, “Done.” “I am dying to (make it),” the filmmaker concluded.

The 1964 film Sangam was directed by Ranbir Kapoor’s grandfather and legendary actor Raj Kapoor. The film also featured Raj Kapoor in the lead with Vyjayanthimala and Rajendra Kumar. It was a hit film.

Ranbir and Ranveer Singh have not shared screen space yet. They first appeared together in 2016 as they graced Karan Johar’s talk show. The candid chat offered fans a glimpse of their easy camaraderie and bromance. Ever since, audiences have been hoping to see the two share screen space in a film, but that collaboration is still awaited.
