Now, post her eviction, Malti has finally clarified that there is no truth to the dating rumours. She explained that they met only 3 months before the show, and that she was never his girlfriend.

Malti Chahar Breaks Silence On Dating Rumours With Amaal Mallik

In a conversation with Pinkvilla after her eviction from Bigg Boss 19, Malti Chahar set the record straight, and denied ever dating Amaal Mallik. She said, “Main show mein bhi yehi bol rahi thi ki main Amaal se, jab yeh show shuru hua, use 3 mahine Pehle hi mili hu. Toh main girlfriend kaise ban sakti hu kyunki time hi nahi mila itna toh. Aaj kal hum jaante pehchaante hain insaan ko, uske baad hum log date karte hain iss zamaane mein. Aapka pata nahi, main toh aise hi karti hu. So jaanne pehchaanne wala hi phase tha. Girlfriend toh nahi thi main uski. (In the show too, I said the same thing — that I had met Amaal only three months before this show started. She further added that the statement she made about having met him for more than just 5 minutes, wasn’t because she wanted to hint at something with him. In fact, she said that she had no clue Amaal was telling housemates that he had met her for a few minutes before. It was only after Shehbaz Badesha told her that she realized Amaal had been speaking about their meeting. “Toh mujhe gussa aagaya ki tu aisa kyu kar raha hai?
