Shah Rukh Khan made a grand and stylish appearance at the Filmfare Awards on Saturday, October 11, 2025. Dressed in an impeccably tailored black tuxedo paired with his signature charm, the actor once again proved why he’s considered the King of Bollywood. He was seen hosting the award night in Gujarat.

In the video, shared by Snehkumar, we can see Shah Rukh Khan looking stylish as he arrived for the award night. He opted for a black formals and was seen patiently posing for the paps. In no time, the video went viral and fans also reacted with heart emojis. Many even wrote, ‘King is back’ in the comment section.

A nostalgic return

Shah Rukh Khan was announced last week as one of the

hosts for the 70th Filmfare Awards, alongside Maniesh Paul and Karan Johar. Speaking about the honour, he said, “From the first time I held the Black Lady in my hands, to sharing countless memories with my colleagues and fans over the years; it’s been a journey of love, cinema, and magic. To return as a co-host for the 70th year is truly special, and I promise we’ll make it a night to remember, full of laughter, nostalgia and celebration of the movies we all love.”

Current projects and upcoming films

Since his last film Dunki in 2023, Shah Rukh has appeared in a cameo in his son Aryan Khan’s web series The Ba**ds of Bollywood*, which he also produced. He is currently filming King, directed by Siddharth Anand, which marks his first on-screen collaboration with daughter Suhana Khan. The film also features Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Jaideep Ahlawat, Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Abhay Verma, Raghav Juyal, and Anil Kapoor. King is slated for a 2026 release.

Deepika Padukone recently addressed her exit from the Kalki 2898 AD sequel and shared exciting news about reuniting with Shah Rukh Khan for King. Posting a picture showing their hands clasped together, she wrote, “The very first lesson he taught me almost 18 years ago while filming Om Shanti Om was that the experience of making a movie, and the people you make it with, matter far more than its success. I couldn’t agree more and have applied that learning to every decision I’ve made since. And that’s probably why we’re back making our 6th movie together?”

The leaked images show Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan during outdoor shoots. SRK sports a salt-and-pepper look, wearing a white t-shirt with an overshirt and a hat, complemented by a grey beard that many fans have noted gives him “Jawan vibes.” Suhana Khan appears in a brown tank top paired with beige cargo pants, hinting at her involvement in action sequences. Abhishek Bachchan, who is part of the ensemble cast, also appears in a salt-and-pepper look in the leaked pictures.
