Red Bull Four 2 Score is set to return for its fourth season, with the India qualifiers starting in Mumbai. The 4v4 football tournament is open to non-professional players and is played on a small field
without goalkeepers.
The national finals in India will take place in Coimbatore at the end of March. The winning team will earn the right to represent India at the Red Bull Four 2 Score World Finals in Toronto, Canada, scheduled after the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
In Season 3, Boom Boom Goa represented India at the World Finals in Salzburg. The team will begin its Season 4 campaign from the Mumbai qualifiers.
Tournament Format
Red Bull Four 2 Score follows a short-format structure designed for quick matches and high participation. Games are played 4v4, last 10 minutes, and do not include a goalkeeper.
City Rounds
Teams compete in group and knockout stages during city rounds. The winning team from each city qualifies for the national finals.
National Finals
Ten city winners will compete in Coimbatore. These teams will be divided into two groups of five, with each team playing the others in its group. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage, followed by semifinals and a final.
The winner of the final will be named Red Bull Four 2 Score India Champions and will represent the country at the World Finals in Toronto.
If a match is tied after 10 minutes, the winner is decided by a Golden Goal.
Match Rules
- Each team has four players on the field and may include one substitute
- Matches last 10 minutes with no breaks during the first nine minutes
- There is no goalkeeper
- Goals scored in the first and last 60 seconds count as double
- In the final minute, the clock stops for referee interventions
- Matches can be played on any surface
- Tied games are decided by a Golden Goal
Golden Goal Format
- One player from each team competes in a 1v1 situation
- The first goal scored ends the match
- If a player denies an obvious goal-scoring opportunity, a red card is issued and the opposing team wins
Eligibility and Team Requirements
- Players from across India are eligible to participate.
- Players must be between 16 and 35 years of age
- All players must be residents of India
- Teams may have a maximum of five players (four playing, one substitute)
- Teams can include players of all genders
Pathway to the World Finals
The national champions will receive an invitation to compete at the Red Bull Four 2 Score World Final in Toronto, Canada, representing India on the global stage.
