Harry Kane entered his name into the history books on Wednesday (July 1) by becoming the first England player to score five or more goals in multiple FIFA World Cup editions.
Kane, England’s all-time leading goal-scorer in both men’s international football and FIFA World Cup history, scored twice against DR Congo in England’s Round of 32 match in Atlanta to take his tally to five goals at the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The Bayern Munich striker made his FIFA World Cup debut in 2018 and scored six goals in that edition to win the Golden Boot. He then found the net twice at the 2022 FIFA World Cup before reaching the five-goal mark again in the 2026 edition.
