Singer–composer duo Sachet–Parampara, comprising real-life couple Sachet Tandon and Parampara Thakur, had a frightening start to 2026 after chaos broke out following their New Year’s Eve concert in Balurghat,
West Bengal. What was meant to be a celebratory night took an alarming turn when an unruly crowd surrounded their car moments after they exited the venue. Rear Windshield Shattered Amid Crowd Frenzy
A video from the incident, now circulating widely on social media via a paparazzi account, captures the tense moments inside the duo’s vehicle. In the clip, Parampara is seen filming Sachet as fans crowd dangerously close to their car. At first, Sachet waves at the supporters through the window, trying to acknowledge them calmly.
However, the situation quickly escalated when someone banged violently on the rear windshield. Startled, Sachet can be heard exclaiming, “Oh st,”** while Parampara repeatedly urges the crowd to calm down, saying, “Guys, relax.”
Within seconds, the rear windshield shattered completely. A visibly shaken Parampara reacts with, “Gaya, gaya (It broke),” as the car fills with panic. The video also shows security personnel struggling to control the swelling crowd, with fans attempting to get closer and record videos amid the chaos.
Duo Remain Silent On Incident, Share New Year Message
Despite the seriousness of the situation, Sachet and Parampara have not directly addressed the incident or commented on the damage to their vehicle. Instead, the duo chose to focus on gratitude and positivity as they welcomed the New Year.
Sharing a performance clip from the concert, they wrote, “Happy New Year to all our dear people who stood by us! May 2026 be extraordinarily good and healthy for all of you. Mahadev Sabki Raksha Karein. #namahparvatipatayeyharharmahadev.”
