Hours after casting her vote in the Tamil Nadu assembly elections 2026, Trisha Krishnan took to her Instagram took to her Instagram handle to drop a picture in which she was seen flaunting her inked finger. As the actress urged others also to come out and exercise their vote, what grabbed everyone’s attention was something else.

Netizens were quick to notice the song Trisha used in her post, Arjunar Villu from her 2013 hit film Ghilli, which also starred Vijay in the lead. Interestingly, the actress removed the part of the song that uses whistles, TVK’s party symbol.

Talking about Trisha’s choice of song, one of the users wrote, “Music Says it all 😂🔥😍.” Several others dropped Vijay’s GIFs in the comments box.

Meanwhile, Trisha’s photos and videos from the polling booth are also all over social media. “Everyone, definitely vote. That’s all I will say today,” she told the reporters after voting, as quoted by Times Now. “Please go vote, just go vote, that’s your duty,” the actress added.

Trisha’s History With Vijay

Over the years, Trisha and Vijay have remained one of Tamil cinema’s most-loved on-screen duos. Their crackling chemistry in hits like Ghilli (2004), Thirupaachi (2005), Aathi (2006), and Kuruvi (2008) had fans hooked. But after Kuruvi, the two suddenly stopped working together — fueling gossip that their closeness during Ghilli had turned into something more. Rumours even did the rounds that Vijay’s family had asked him to keep his distance from Trisha post Kuruvi. Both stars, however, denied any romance, insisting they were “just friends.”

Fast forward 15 years, Trisha and Vijay reunited on screen for Leo (2023), sending fans into a frenzy.
