Salman Khan’s recent work front
Salman Khan is currently busy with his upcoming
war drama, Maatrubhumi, which was earlier titled Battle of Galwan. Helmed by Apoorva Lakhia, the project also stars Chitrangada Singh as the leading lady. Recently, a report by Mid-Day claimed that the team has been reshooting portions of the film in Mumbai since February 2026, with nearly 40 days of additional work planned. The revised schedule includes filming new sequences aimed at reshaping the narrative. One of the notable additions is a Chinese-language song, which will be composed by Himesh Reshammiya. The song is expected to be filmed featuring Salman Khan once it is finalised and recorded.
Apart from this the actor has also announced his next with Vamshi Paidipally. Nayanthara will be seen next to him. The actor will be next seen in an action entertainer, King. The film is a multi-starrer with his daughter Suhana Khan also being part of it. As per reports, King will feature SRK as a seasoned assassin operating within the dark underworld, while Suhana plays his protégé, training for dangerous missions. Fans are eagerly awaiting to watch SRK in a different and bold avatar. The release date announcement video offered a thrilling glimpse of his character, leaving netizens completely blown away. The actioner is all set to hit theatres on December 24, 2026.
