Ahead of the public announcement, select fans reportedly received handwritten letters from the members, each bearing the date “2026.3.20.” The notes offered an intimate glimpse into the emotions of seven artists who have been counting down to their reunion just as much as their fans.

Leader RM candidly shared his feelings, writing that he’d been “waiting for this moment more desperately than anyone.” Jin, who was the first to complete his military service, reflected on the transition back to group life, saying, “I greeted you all as a soloist in 2023 and 2024, but I can finally greet you as part of a team again.” J-Hope echoed the excitement with, “Finally, it’s the year that we will all be together with you!!” Jungkook, the youngest member, kept it simple yet emotional: “Please take good care of us this year as well.”

The reunion has already begun in spirit. BTS recently appeared together for a New Year’s countdown on Weverse, offering fans their first look at the full group in years.
