Nakuul Mehta Reveals Why Son Sufi Hasn’t Seen His Work Yet

Nakuul Mehta is currently riding high on the praise for his recent series, Space Gen – Chandrayaan. How Fatherhood Has Shaped Nakuul Mehta’s Ambitions

Talking about how fatherhood has influenced him professionally, Nakuul Mehta said that Space Gen – Chandrayaan came at a point in his life when

becoming a parent made him rethink many choices. He described himself as inherently ambitious, noting that ambition is sometimes frowned upon in the country. He finds ambition to be great, however, after becoming a father, Nakuul said his ambition has become quieter. For him, it is no longer about going full throttle but about pursuing smaller and meaningful wins.

Keeping Sufi Away From The Screen

The Ishqbaaz actor shared that his son, Sufi, knows that he is an actor and has visited his sets, but he hasn’t watched any of his work yet. Nakuul explained that Sufi has heard a song from one of his shows, Never Kiss Your Best Friend, which he loves, but he hasn’t seen the visuals. He added that while Sufi has met co-stars like Shriya Saran and Danish Sait, he hasn’t actually watched Nakuul perform.

Explaining his choice, Nakuul said he doesn’t want Sufi to see his father as someone different from everyone else. He wants his son to understand that he is a professional who goes to work and pursues what he loves. Nakuul noted that this approach reflects where he currently is in parenting. He added that it might evolve over time, but for now, he is content with it.

Nakuul’s decision definitely reflects his thoughtful approach to fame, ensuring his son, Sufi, isn’t influenced by his celebrity status.
