Actor Arjun Mathur is currently busy with the promotions of his upcoming dark comedy thriller, Lord Curzon Ki Haveli , scheduled to hit the big screens on October 10. Helmed by Anshuman Jha, the film also
features Rasika Dugal, Paresh Pahuja and Zoha Rahman in the lead roles. Notably, the film received a lot of appreciation after its premiere at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM), back in 2023.
As the film hits the theatres tomorrow, Arjun, in a recent interview, spoke about his experience working on the project and gave a major update about Made In Heaven Season 3.
Arjun Mathur On Lord Curzon Ki Haveli
As the film is a tribute to the suspense master Alfred Hitchcock’s style and tension-building techniques, when being asked about he cracked the tone of the film, Arjun told The Indian Express, “The tone of this film became clear to me after I went on to act in it. During the workshops, everything was thrown on the table, and whatever could be discovered was found. By the time we got to the floors, we had a good hold on our personalities. However, the tone became clearer to me while filming.”
Arjun Mathur On Working With Rasika Dugal
Adding to this, the actor also talked about working with Rasika Dugal for the first time. Although the duo earlier shared screen for a brief moment in the web series Made In Heaven Season 1, where the actress played a drugged bride, their characters don’t actually meet.
Speaking about that ,he said, “We barely shot together because she was drugged during the episode. Then she’s forced to leave silently, so our characters don’t get to interact much. If anything, we had crowd scenes. But, yes, this was the first time. We’d known about each other’s work for a long time, had met off camera, and were eager to collaborate. So, I’m very grateful. In fact, Anshuman drew me in by saying Rasika plays that character.”
Arjun Mathur On Made In Heaven Season 3
During the chat, the actor also gave a major update about the third season of Made In Heaven, which might break many hearts. He has now confirmed that the show will not be getting another season.
Arjun said, “The question, ‘When is Made in Heaven season 3 coming out?’ continues even now. But, yes, there is no season 3. I would have loved numerous seasons, but each season cannot take more than four to five years. So, ussey bahut jaldi Buddha ho jaunga. So, yeah, it ended after two seasons.”
