Etah (UP), May 6 (PTI) A 26-year-old man died and his brother-in-law was seriously injured after their motorcycle collided with a nilgai here on Wednesday evening, police said.
The accident occurred near Nagla Kaji under Saket police station limits when Ajay Kumar, a resident of Poonth Nagla Randhaur village in Firozabad district, was travelling with his brother-in-law, Pawan, police said.
According to police, the motorcycle went out of control after a nilgai suddenly came onto the road, causing a collision.
Police said the impact was severe, killing Ajay Kumar on the spot, while Pawan, was admitted to Veerangana Avantibai Medical College where his condition is critical.
Circle Officer Saket Nitesh Garg said the body has been sent for a postmortem,
and further legal proceedings are underway.
