Weather patterns are shifting quickly across Telangana as winter gradually gives way to warmer days. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has indicated that temperatures are expected to rise noticeably in Hyderabad and several parts of the state over the next 24 hours, signalling an early hint of summer conditions.
In Hyderabad, the maximum temperature today is likely to hover between 29°C and 30°C, while the minimum may settle around 17°C. The sky is expected to remain partly cloudy, but the overall weather will be largely dry. Morning fog is likely to recede quickly, giving way to stronger sunlight by the afternoon. Humidity levels are estimated at around 32 percent, which may make the air feel relatively dry. Winds are expected to blow
from the southeast at speeds of 7–10 miles per hour.
Statewide Outlook
Similar trends are expected across other Telangana districts, including Nizamabad, Khammam, Nalgonda, and Karimnagar, where daytime temperatures may rise 1-2 degrees above normal. While northern districts could still experience a mild chill during the night, daytime heat is likely to be more pronounced across the state.
Rainfall is unlikely in the next 24 hours, with officials forecasting mostly dry conditions. Only isolated areas may see light cloud cover, with rain chances estimated at around 10 percent, making significant showers improbable.
UV Levels And Health Advisory
The UV Index is likely to reach 6, categorised as “High,” which means prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, particularly between 12 noon and 3 pm, could increase the risk of skin irritation or sunburn. Residents are advised to take basic precautions, such as wearing caps or carrying umbrellas when stepping outdoors.
Health experts also recommend staying well-hydrated and consuming fluids such as water or fresh fruit juices to prevent dehydration as temperatures begin to climb.
Early Signs Of Summer
In essence, Telangana appears to be transitioning out of the cold season faster than usual. While mornings may still carry a mild chill in certain regions, afternoons are expected to grow progressively warmer in the coming days. Travellers and daily commuters are advised to plan accordingly, as meteorologists predict a steady rise in temperatures across the state.
