Karan Johar is currently hosting the final season of his much-talked-about, controversial talk show Koffee with Karan. Recently, reports suggested that Diljit Dosanjh would be gracing the Koffee couch in one of the episodes of the talk show, and now it looks like the Punjabi singer has given subtle hints to his fans, confirming these reports.
The actor-singer, in a recent Instagram Live session, spoke about that one interview he plans to give this year and said, “I have received an offer for an interview. I can do that one. They said it is their last show for this year. I mean, on this topic, I am supposed to do it. It is their last show, so I agreed to do it.”
He further continued and added, “So, you guys will get that surprise. I am only going
to do one interview this year. Only that one this year.”
If Diljit graces the Koffee couch, it won’t be his first appearance on Karan’s talk show. The actor-singer previously appeared on the show with rapper Badshah in Season 6.
About Koffee with Karan
While curiosity about Diljit’s appearance grows, the next episode of the show will feature Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan. The promo for the show’s upcoming episode was recently dropped, and it features Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan at their most unfiltered.
Varun Dhawan revealed in the promo that Karan Johar had stopped speaking to him and Janhvi. Adding to it, Karan said, “I was hurt with both of you.” Reacting to it, Janhvi said, “I gained weight when we stopped talking.” Varun further added, “Karan, you said very dramatic shit. You became Bachchan from K3G: ‘Mein bada hoon, haq hai mera.’”
The clip also featured Arjun Kapoor as a special guest on the couch, surprising both Varun and Janhvi. The trio also discussed Ravi Kishan’s popular ‘Money follows my brother’ meme with Karan Johar.
Other awaited guests of KWK
Previously, News18 had reported that Salman Khan would return to the show for its opening episode. Our sources also informed us that Shah Rukh Khan is in talks to appear in this final season. “Karan and his team are trying to get SRK for the last episode of the season, which also marks the grand finale of this long-running chat show,” the source said, adding that the episode will also be a platform for Shah Rukh to promote King.
The source further added, “The team is still following up with him. But Karan is confident that he’ll be able to pull this off. As for Aryan, his appearance on the show depends on his father. If Shah Rukh graces the couch, Aryan will join him, as he wouldn’t want to make his debut on Koffee with Karan with anyone else.”
