When Salman Khan celebrates, fans make sure the whole neighbourhood feels it. As the Bollywood superstar turned 60 on Friday, large crowds gathered outside his Bandra home, Galaxy Apartment, turning the area into an impromptu fan zone from the early hours of the day.
Videos shared online showed fans packed outside the building, many hoping to catch a glimpse of the actor on his birthday. One user who posted a clip captioned it, “Huge Crowd At The Outside Of Megastar #SalmanKhan’s House Galaxy Apartment (sic).” Another fan captured the mood with the comment, “Bhai ka birthday hai, aaj toh Galaxy Apartment ke bahar mela lagega! (sic).”

While fans waited outside his Bandra residence, Salman chose to celebrate the milestone privately with family and close friends at his Panvel farmhouse. The birthday gathering included several familiar faces from the film industry and beyond, such as Sanjay Dutt, Tabu, Genelia Deshmukh, Randeep Hooda, MS Dhoni, Aditya Roy Kapur, Rakul Preet Singh, Huma Qureshi, Mahesh Manjrekar, Maniesh Paul and Mika Singh. Family members Aayush Sharma, Nirvaan Khan, Arhaan Khan, Arpita Khan Sharma, Arbaaz Khan, Sshura Khan, Salim Khan and Alvira Khan were also present. Salman’s former partner Sangeeta Bijlani attended the celebration as well.
Birthday wishes poured in from those closest to the actor. Salman’s longtime bodyguard Shera shared a heartfelt post on Instagram, writing, “Happy 60th Birthday, My Maalik @beingsalmankhan. I’ve walked beside you through countless ups and downs, and one thing that has never changed, is your attitude to face every challenge with style, strength and silence (sic).” He added, “That’s why you’re not just a star……you’re the biggest Superstar. Because of you, I’ve earned so much love nd respect and an identity I’m truly proud of (sic).”

The celebrations weren’t limited to private parties. As midnight approached, Mumbai joined in by lighting up the Bandra-Worli Sea Link with a birthday message that read, “Happy 60th Birthday, Salman Khan.” Late-night commuters stopped to take photos and videos, and the glowing tribute quickly went viral on social media.

Meanwhile, there is growing buzz around Salman’s upcoming film Battle Of Galwan. According to a source quoted by Bollywood Hungama, the teaser is expected to be unveiled on December 27. “The team feels December 27 is the perfect moment to unveil the teaser. It will introduce audiences to the world of Battle of Galwan and give a sense of the film’s scale, intensity, and visual grandeur,” the source said. An official announcement is still awaited.
On the work front, Salman recently made a cameo appearance in Aryan Khan’s directorial debut web show The Ba**ds of Bollywood. He was last seen in Sikandar, which released in March and featured Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Prateik Smita Patil, Anjini Dhawan, Sharman Joshi, Sathyaraj, Jatin Sarna and Sanjay Kapoor.
