Neha Swami Celebrates Karwa Chauth Without Arjun Bijlani, Wishes To See Him Once

Television icon Arjun Bijlani’s wife, Neha Swami, is all decked up for Karwa Chauth, although she will not be able to celebrate the festival with her husband. The actor is currently taking part in the Rise

and Fall reality show and will not be able to be present physically for the festival.

While this is the second time that Neha will have to celebrate the festival without Arjun, previously they were able to see each other on video call, but this year that will not be possible.

Neha took to Instagram stories and shared multiple glimpses of her celebrating the special day. In the videos, she was seen wearing a bright yellow kurta set featuring intricate stone work on the collar and at the sleeves. She kept her overall look simple with minimal makeup, defined eyes, and a red bindi. For accessories, Neha added big statement jhumkas that matched her outfit. Neha’s sweet mehendi grabbed attention, as it had Arjun’s name in the middle, surrounded by a big heart and a bunch of tiny hearts around it.

Neha Swami on Spending Karwa Chauth Without Arjun Bijlani
During an interview with Hindustan Times, Neha shared that the first time Arjun was not present for Karwa Chauth was when he was shooting for a show named Ruhaniyat. “We did a video call, saw each other, and shared those moments. But this time, it’s very different,” Neha explained, as Arjun is away competing in Rise and Fall. Talking about his absence, Neha shared her feelings and revealed, “We can’t talk. We can’t see each other. No video calls… not even a message or a voice. It’s a silence that feels heavy, but I’m still keeping the fast with the same love and faith for him.”

Neha further shared her wish of seeing Arjun, even if it is for a few seconds. “Getting a video call is the dream! I know it probably won’t happen, but my fingers are crossed. I wish he could surprise me, even just for a few seconds. Maybe I’m asking for too much, but that’s my little wish,” she shared.

After knowing each other for nearly 20 years, Neha Swami and Arjun Bijlani decided to tie the knot in 2013. After two years, the couple welcomed their son Ayaan in 2015.
