At busy railway stations, people often find creative, and sometimes risky, ways to deal with everyday problems. A short clip from Mumbai’s Borivali station has drawn attention because of one such unusual moment involving a low battery and a desperate passenger.
The scene captures a man who seems unwilling to let his phone die, even if it means taking a dangerous step. What he does next has left viewers shocked, amused, and concerned at the same time.
Man Takes A Risky Step At Borivali
The video opens at a railway station, where a man is seen standing near a tall metal railway pillar with the station’s name, “BORIVALI,” clearly visible on it. Instead of looking for a normal charging point, he carefully starts climbing the iron structure like a ladder.
He pulls himself up using the beams, balancing his body while holding his phone and charger.
Once he reaches the top section of the pillar, he stretches his arm and plugs his charger into an exposed socket placed high above. After connecting it, he climbs down slightly and looks at his phone, checking if it has started charging. In the video, the man looks focused and determined, even though the situation looks unsafe to anyone watching.
The clip then shows him adjusting the charger once again, making sure it is properly connected before stepping back down completely.

People React To The Daring Act
The video, shared on February 5, has crossed over 50,000 views so far and sparked several reactions in the comments section. A user joked, “Isse batao ki Power bank bhi Koi cheez hai mobile ko charge karne ke liye.” Another person defended him, saying, “It’s ok. It can happen.”
Someone else asked humorously, “Ab phone kaha rakhu?” One viewer even claimed, “AI hai,” suggesting the clip might be fake.
Passenger’s Quick Call Leads to Swift Railway Response
In October 2025, during a journey on the Ten Jam Express, a young passenger noticed the mobile charging point near his seat wasn’t working. He promptly called the railway helpline, providing his train and seat details. Within 15 minutes, an electrician arrived to fix the issue.
A video capturing the incident shows the passenger starting a stopwatch after the call and later thanking the electrician for the prompt service. The swift response has been praised online as a sign of improved railway efficiency.
