BTS are officially on the verge of rewriting K-pop history. The global supergroup is gearing up to launch what is already being hailed as the largest tour ever by a K-pop act, and the numbers are nothing short of staggering.
Tickets for BTS’ upcoming ARIRANG World Tour went on sale last week — and within hours, every single show across North America and Europe was completely sold out. The frenzy was immediate, with fans flooding ticketing platforms and pushing demand to record-breaking levels.
In a historic milestone, BTS have become the first non-English and Asian act to sell over 2 million tickets, clocking an astonishing 2.4 million tickets sold through just 41 sold-out stadium shows across North America and Europe so far.
A Tour Designed To Break Records
The ARIRANG World
Tour officially kicks off on April 9 at South Korea’s Goyang Stadium, where BTS will perform three consecutive nights. From there, the group heads to Tokyo for two shows before embarking on their massive North American and European run.
The North American leg begins on April 25 in Tampa with three shows, followed by two nights in El Paso and three nights in Mexico City. BTS will then perform three shows in Stanford before taking over Las Vegas for four nights.
Following the U.S. run, the group will return to Busan for two special shows celebrating their 13th anniversary, a highly emotional milestone for both BTS and ARMY.
Europe will see BTS perform across five regions and 10 shows, starting with two nights in Madrid in June, followed by two-night stops in Brussels, London, Munich and Paris.
The tour then circles back to North America on August 1, with multiple-night stops in East Rutherford, Foxborough, Baltimore, Arlington, Toronto and Chicago, before concluding with a massive four-night finale in Los Angeles in September. Due to overwhelming demand, additional shows were added in Tampa, Stanford and Las Vegas.
New Album ‘Arirang’ Drops March 20
Adding to the excitement, BTS will release their highly anticipated fifth studio album, Arirang, on March 20 — just weeks before the tour kicks off. With a new era, a record-smashing tour and global demand at an all-time high, this is shaping up to be the biggest chapter of BTS’ career yet.
