Virat Kohli’s ‘Slow Dance’ With Kuldeep Yadav Goes Viral As India Rout South Africa

Ace India batter Virat Kohli’s hilarious dance moves with Kuldeep Yadav after the latter picked up a wicket during South Africa’s innings in the third ODI have gone viral on social media. As Kuldeep wrapped up a brilliant spell in the series-deciding third ODI against South Africa, Kohli pulled him in for a mock slow-dance, grabbing his hand and sealing it with a warm hug.

India broke their streak of 20 successive lost tosses after misreading the coin’s spin. With no hesitation, they put South Africa in to bat,

a decision that made it clear the looming dew factor was at the heart of their strategy.

For the first time in 21 ODIs, the toss went India’s way. KL Rahul, who had carried that streak like a burden, switched things up, flipping the coin

with his left hand. The change drew a cheer and even a rare grin at the toss as India opted to field in Vizag.

Amidst many moments involving Kuldeep, like the one where he pleaded with Rahul and Rohit Sharma to take a DRS, his dance with Kohli also went viral. Watch the video here:

Once Prasidh Krishna was done away with the top and middle-order, Kuldeep (4/41) took over and mopped up the tail as South Africa fell short of even a par total on this pitch.

After Arshdeep Singh removed Ryan Rickelton early, Quinton de Kock (106 off 89 balls, 8 fours, 6 sixes) smacked his seventh hundred against India and stitched a 113-run partnership off 124 deliveries with captain Temba Bavuma (48 off 67).

The partnership lifted South Africa into a strong position.

De Kock was severe on Prasidh (4/66), who erred on length in his first spell (2-0-27-0). He biffed the pacer for 6, 6, 4 in his second over to milk 18 runs.

De Kock pounced on anything short and pacers Prasidh and Harshit Rana offered him plenty of feed on his pet areas.
