UP safe for investments, attracts investors: Tourism minister

Lucknow, Jun 8 (PTI) Uttar Pradesh Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh on Monday said that investors are attracted towards the state because they feel that their investments here are safe.

Singh was speaking at the curtain raiser of RISE UP, a three-day event, which is scheduled to take place from October 2 to 4, 2026, at Awadh Shilp Gram in Lucknow.

Singh told PTI, “After speaking to the investors, it seems that there is trust in the law and order situation of the state. Due to the good policies of the state government, investors feel that their investment in the state is safe because of various incentives and subsidies given by the government.

They also feel that their investment is safe in the state from criminal elements. This has generated

confidence and built trust in them, and that is why they are attracted towards Uttar Pradesh,” Singh said.

He added that investors have also evinced interest in investing in hotels and homestays in the state.

He also said that Uttar Pradesh today stands as a confident investment destination, backed by a clear vision and a well-defined investment roadmap. PTI NAV APL APL
