Love Insurance Kompany On OTT: Pradeep Ranganathan, Krithi Shetty Film Gets Streaming Date

After its theatrical release on April 10, 2026, Love Insurance Kompany is now heading to OTT. Directed by Vignesh Shivan, the sci-fi romantic comedy stars Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty in the lead roles and will begin streaming online from May 6, 2026.

What Is Love Insurance Kompany About?

Set in the year 2040, Love Insurance Kompany follows Vasu, also known as Vibe Vassey, who comes from a village called Pasume Ulagam, meaning “Organic World.” Unlike most cities in the future, his village lives without technology and continues to hold on to a simpler way of life.

Vasu eventually becomes the voice of an advanced romance-finder app, a system that uses algorithms to decide whether people are compatible in love. In this futuristic world, relationships are measured through data, numbers and predictions rather than instinct and emotion.

Things take a turn when Vasu falls in love with Dheema, even though the app predicts that their relationship will fail. Their romance becomes a challenge to the system, prompting the company to interfere and try to end their relationship. Whether technology succeeds in pulling them apart or love finds its way becomes the core of the film.

The film stars Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty in the lead, alongside SJ Suryah, Yogi Babu, Seeman, Gouri G Kishan, Shah Ra, Malavika, Sunil Reddy and others in key roles.

Written and directed by Vignesh Shivan, Love Insurance Kompany features music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The film is produced by Nayanthara and SS Lalit Kumar under the banners of Rowdy Pictures and Seven Screen Studio. Ravi Varman has handled the cinematography, while Pradeep E Ragav is the editor.

The project was initially planned in 2019 with Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role but was shelved due to budget constraints. It was later revived in 2023 with Pradeep Ranganathan as the lead and faced multiple postponements before finally releasing in theatres.
