Ishaan Khatter Named Jury Member At Biarritz Film Festival Alongside Kristen Stewart

Ishaan Khatter’s international journey continues to get bigger. The actor has now been invited to be part of the jury panel at the fourth edition of the Biarritz Film Festival, putting him alongside several well-known global names from the film industry.

The announcement was made through the festival’s official Instagram page. Hollywood actor Kristen Stewart is among the prominent names on the jury lineup this year.

Apart from Ishaan and Stewart, the panel will also include French filmmaker Nathan Ambrosioni, French actor Suzy Bemba and Canadian actor Whitney Peak, among others.

The recognition marks another international milestone for Ishaan, whose career has steadily built strong global connections since the beginning. He made his acting debut

in 2018 with Beyond The Clouds, directed by acclaimed Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi.

Over the years, the actor has continued to explore projects beyond Indian cinema as well. In 2021, he appeared in a cameo role in Don’t Look Up, featuring Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence.

In 2020, Ishaan also starred opposite Tabu in Mira Nair’s British drama series A Suitable Boy, which received international attention following its release.

His 2025 film Homebound further strengthened his global presence after it was selected as India’s official entry to the Oscars and later made it to the shortlist as well.

Back in India, Ishaan is currently busy with Jugaadu, an upcoming film directed by Palash Vaswani.

The Biarritz Film Festival, also known as Nouvelles Vagues, is known for bringing together emerging and established voices from cinema across the world, making Ishaan’s inclusion on the jury another notable moment in his growing international career.
