A day after Diljit Dosanjh distanced himself from the Cockroach Janta Party’s protests, the latter’s spokesperson Saurav Das has now expressed disappointment. Das was recently asked about the Punjabi singer-actor’s comments when he admitted that he is “upset” with it. He also requested Dosanjh to come forward and talk about the issues of youth in India.
“That is very sad. I think he should comment something. He must encourage youth. He does it with his music, can do the same with his words about this movement or by talking about youth’s problems. He should say something,” Das said. Watch the video here:
What Did Diljit Dosanjh Say?
During a recent Instagram live session, Diljit Dosanjh was asked about the ongoing protest
at Jantar Mantar led by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP). Diljit made it clear that he prefers not to comment on it. He said that he was unaware of the situation due to his busy Aura Tour schedule. He also urged people to keep him out of protests, stating that he is not a politician and would rather remain focused on his work as an entertainer.
“Bro, keep me away from protests and such things. I am an artist. I am not a politician,” he said. The globally popular singer further added that it is impossible for everything in the world to be perfect or entirely right. “Everything can never be right. Everything in this world can never be right,” he said.
