Emily Cooper isn’t finished juggling romance, job, and couture just yet. Netflix has confirmed that Emily in Paris has been renewed for Season 6. It adds another chapter to Lily Collins’s journey in Europe.
The renewal comes just after Season 5’s successful premiere, and series creator Darren Star is already planning ahead. Now, Lily Collins also shared a clip confirming the news.
To celebrate the confirmation, a clip was posted by Lily Collins on Instagram. It featured the eponymous character Emily Cooper, in her new hairstyle, which she debuted last season, as she walks to the camera. With a smile, the camera pans away to see her on a phone screen, blowing out a ‘6’ candle on a croissant to commemorate the latest edition. The backdrop of roses and the renowned Eiffel Tower is seen in the backdrop.

Emily In Paris New Season In Works?
Speaking at a press conference in December, Darren Star teased the show’s direction while staying rooted in its identity. “There’s a lot of places I’d love to visit. But I think the show organically follows the storyline. The show is Emily in Paris. It’s never going to permanently leave its home base. But if I can take the audience on a journey somewhere else, I would love that it’s fun to think about,” he said.
What Happened In The last Season of Emily In Paris?
In the last season, which became Emily in Rome for a period, the main character strutted throughout Italy with her new boyfriend Marcello Muratori (Eugenio Franceschini). But by the end of the ten episodes, and a huge fashion event later, she has been returned to Paris, and her long-lost boyfriend Chef Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) has sent her a letter inviting her to Greece.
It remains to be seen whether the show takes off in a new city with Emily and Gabriel’s newfound enthusiasm, or if she returns to Rome to live with her most recent boyfriend, Marcello, who has offered to welcome her to his design firm, Muratori, in addition to a tranquil life in Solitano. Meanwhile, her best friend Mindy (Ashley Park) has accepted Nicolas de Léon’s (Paul Forman) proposal while still having affections for Emily’s ex, Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), with whom she has had a fling.
