Nishant Malkani, known for shows like Ram Milaye Jodi and Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega, is all set to showcase his acting abilities in Mastiii 4. In a recent interview, the popular actor revealed that he had
to undergo a major transformation for the Milap Zaveri directorial. He shared that he was dealing with personal problems at the time and was trying to navigate through that difficult phase.
In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, the television actor said, “I was dealing with some personal issues and had stopped paying attention to my fitness or even my career.” He added that when the film came to him during this difficult time, he took it as a sign from God. “I took it as a sign that I needed to transform my inner self first, so I could change my physical self too,” stated Nishant.
Nishant Malkani Opens Up About His Role In Mastiii 4
Nishant revealed that he plays a character who lives in the United Kingdom, a man who is exceptionally good-looking, physically fit, has six-pack abs, and is someone every woman desires to be with. He asserted, “It is one of the biggest opportunities of my career”.
He went on to share that his character enters in the second half of the film, and his role is just as significant as those of other actors like Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh, and Arshad Warsi. He explained, “I knew I had to give it everything.”
Nishant’s Fitness Routine For His Role
Nishant opened up about the dedication and discipline behind his fitness routine. He said, ‘I started working out twice a day; 2.5 hours in the morning and again in the evening.” He shared that his entire day revolved around three major activities, which were, meditating, resting and eating right for 50 days. “I had this fire inside me, an anger, not on anyone else, but at myself. I was always known as one of the fittest actors on television and that thought made me fight harder.”
“Only I know The Dark Pit I Climbed Out Of…,” Says Nishant
“Only I know the kind of dark pit I climbed out of. When you hit rock bottom, it’s not necessarily a bad thing,” opined Nishant. He noted that it was actually the best thing that could happen to him because according to him, “when you climb out of it (the dark phase), you discover your true strength.”
