An ordinary weekend for an Indian family in Dubai turned into a magical and it is all because of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The family, which consists of Indian expat Sourabh Jain, his wife and their children Mishika and Taksh, were enjoying a weekend at Al Qudra Lake when an unexpected encounter happened.
Dubai PM Poses With Indian Expat’s Children According to a report in Hindustan Times, the family first noticed the iconic Dubai number plate that signalled the arrival of the ruler. “We were enjoying our weekend at Al Qudra lake, all of a sudden, my wife saw the DUBAI plate with number one, which we were aware belonged to the Sheikh his highness and she called all of us to come
and see his highnes,s and she waved at the car,” Sourabh told the outlet.
The ruler did not just wave back. In a remarkable display of warmth, Sheikh Mohammed rolled down his car window and greeted the family personally. The children were invited to take pictures with him.
“We requested a picture with my kids because my son is a huge fan of his, and he is very humble. His highness agreed and called my kids to capture with him, not only that, but he even offered a cold coffee to my daughter,” Sourabh shared.

A video of the encounter has now surfaced online that shows Mishika and Taksh standing outside the car as Sheikh Mohammed who is seated in the passenger seat, smiles and poses with them for photographs.
He even gently placed his hand on little Taksh’s shoulder. There is also a picture accompanying the post that shows the cold coffee that was offered by the leader.
