A similar frenzy has now taken over Gurugram. New York’s iconic dessert outlet, Magnolia Bakery, has opened its doors in the Delhi NCR region, drawing in crowds like never before. The bakery first came into existence on Bleecker Street in NYC’s West Village in 1996.
A day ago, a social media user posted a video on Instagram offering viewers a glimpse of the Magnolia Bakery. The clip captured residents standing patiently in a queue that extended far down the street. The entire facade was made of glass windows. People
were seen huddled outside the entrance, most probably to taste their lip-smacking range of sweets. “Gurugram ka naya ajooba. Sector 43-42 ke paas. (Gurugram’s new wonder. Near Sector 43–42),” said the man recording the video.

The Internet Found The Craze Too Exaggerated
“Amiro ki rasmalai (The rasmalai of rich people),” commented a user sarcastically. “Unpopular opinion: Om Sweets ki rasmalai isse zada aachi hai (The rasmalai served at Om Sweets is way better),” revealed another. “Overhyped. Terrible customer service,” wrote a critic.
“The queue is getting longer day by day. It wasn’t this long on the first day of its opening,” pointed out one person. “I would never stand in such a long queue for a pastry. Not worth my time!” admitted an individual. Meanwhile, a sweet-tooth shared, “Tres leches and banana pudding are their signature must-try.”
