A video of US President Donald Trump’s kiss to the cheeks of Erika Kirk, wife of late conservative figure Charlie Kirk, during an event has triggered backlash online.
The video was captured during the “Build the Red Wall” event hosted by Turning Point USA at Dream City Church. The moment occurred after Kirk, who is the CEO of Turning Point USA, introduced Trump with praise and he leaned in and kissed her on the cheek.
After the video went viral, there were reactions ranging from dismissive to critical.

One user wrote, “Every single one of his interactions with women
makes my skin crawl.”
“Who else gets disgusted watching pedo Trump kiss Erika Kirk at the Turning Point USA event today?” another posted.
“Who is going to tell him that she isn’t 12 anymore?” one comment read, while another referenced a previous viral moment involving JD Vance and Kirk, writing: “Well she was welcoming JD’s advances… maybe the actual Pres. could do better?”
Meanwhile, some users called the incident as “hardly a kiss” and many accused critics of exaggerating or “making up perverted things out of nothing,” as cited by International Business Times.
So far, no statement has been issued from Trump’s campaign or Turning Point USA clarifying the nature of the interaction.
Comparison With 2025 JD Vance-Erika Kirk Video
The comparison of the incident to that JD Vance and Erika Kirk dates to 2025 when a viral video showed him sharing an intimate hug with the widow of recently assassinated conservative figure Charlie Kirk and her hand resting in Vance’s hair.
The closeness, combined with Erika’s glowing words about seeing Charlie in JD, sent social media into overdrive, igniting rampant speculation: is Vance, already under fire from white supremacists over his Indian-origin wife Usha Chilukuri, being nudged into a divorce?
Later, a professional lip reader Nicola Hickling revealed that as Vance and Erika briefly hugged, the vice president whispered, “I’m proud of you.” Fighting back tears, Erika replied softly, “It’s not gonna bring him back.”
